Training

Depending on demand and in collaboration with its partner in Berlin in Germany, Optimo offers tailored training opportunities in the field of energy efficiency to different professionals, whether in the field of building (architects, masters, etc.) or industrial (Engineers, Technicians, etc.).

However and with a sufficient number of participants the following trainings can be organized at a standard way:

Workshop: “Energy and culture of construction”

Description:
For a sustainable energy efficiency in the building sector, the permanent qualification of the people involved in the construction is an essential task. A high-quality building culture must be associated with energy-efficient solutions. For this, it is necessary that an individual concept be created for each construction project by an experienced team of planners and contractors.
This Workshop will cover all aspects of these concepts, such as the reduction of energy needs, efficient building techniques and the use of renewable energies. Of course the resulting requirements on technology are a real challenge. This implies subsequent significant changes in the concept of architecture, building culture and the construction itself.
The objective of this Workshop is to develop individual concepts for the projects submitted by the participants in small working groups!

Workshop: “Energy efficient Buildings”

Content:
Culture of construction – protection of monuments and the whole.
Climate protection – efficiency and renewable energies.
Building envelope – design, construction and efficiency.
Building Technology – Ventilation, Heat and Electricity.
Heat and provision.
Cost and economy.
construction typologies.
Overview – Housing Typologies.

Description
Energy efficiency with well-developed standards for residential passive components is the basis for energy efficiency in the buildings and will be intensively addressed in this training module. Based on the general rules and requirements of monument and climate protection, building envelope optimization techniques will be presented in this Workshop based on the relevant components and characteristics of the building types.
Examples of energy best practices corresponding to a specific building typology will be highlighted. A brief overview of the influence of building and renewable energy technologies will also be highlighted to evaluate the interaction of efficiency and supply systems. An overview of housing typologies and possible remediation concepts will also be presented in order to achieve a climate-neutral building park in the long term.
